I am a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist dedicated to helping Muslim women live healthier and happier lives. I am a wife and mom to two beautiful girls under 3 who love food just as much as I do! After becoming a mom myself, I truly understood the challenges that come with being a mom and how much more complicated it is to live a healthy lifestyle. I'm so excited to finally create a program that meets the needs of Muslim moms so that they can finally put themselves first, inshallah!

“Prior to starting to work with Nazima, I was six months post-partum and struggling to shed those last 13 pounds (out of a total 50 gained during pregnancy). Trying to be realistic with weight loss and fitting into my pre-pregnancy weight clothing, I ate healthily during the day, but when supper came around and hubby on the way home, we’d often indulge in huge take-out dishes. I often fet bloated and quite guilty for not being smart about planning my meals and preparing for the nightly dig-ins. Frequently Asked Questions

When does the course start and finish?
The 8 week program starts on January 13th and ends on March 7th. The program doors will close to everyone by January 8tg at midnight. All members will then receive access to Week 1 meal plan, grocery lists, videos, and resources. You can use Thursday-Sunday to prepare so we can all start Week 1 together on January 13th inshallah!! Keep in mind, you will continue to have lifetime access to the resources and videos after the 8 weeks are up (excluding the coaching calls and exercise program).
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
Is this program right for me if I just had a baby?
Yes! This program is made for moms at all life stages. The great thing about having access to me in the support group as well as the weekly coaching calls is that I can guide you through obstacles you may face and help you overcome them. The bonus postpartum recipe book will be very helpful for new moms!
Is this program right for me if my kids are older?
Yes! The meal preps are not just food for you, I am teaching you how to meal prep for a family with a variety of preferences. There are weekly challenges and education videos that will help you navigate through the challenges of healthy eating with a family.
Can I lose weight following this program?
Yes! I don’t like to focus as weight loss as the sole purpose of eating healthy, but by following a healthy lifestyle, you will naturally reach your optimal weight. If weight loss is your goal, I will also ask you to measure your bust, waist, and hips so that we can track inches lost, as this is a better indicator of progress than just the number on the scale.
Is this program right for me if I am underweight?
Yes! The purpose of this program is to help you develop a healthy lifestyle. You will learn how to prepare healthy meals and develop a healthy eating routine. If one of your goals is to gain weight, I will help you modify the meal plan so that it can support weight gain.
What types of recipes are in the meal plan?
The recipes I develop are a mix of cuisines influenced by a variety of factors such as culture, favourite flavours, family preferences, and health benefits. There is at least one curry, one vegetarian dish, and one baked dish each week. The meals are family style so that inshallah your family is more likely to enjoy the healthy meals too! You can also visit my blog ( to get an idea of the types of recipes I develop. The meal plan has mostly brand new recipes that are exclusive to the Muslimah Moms First Program!
Will I be able to find all of the ingredients in the country I live in?
You should be able to find most ingredients, however, if there is a certain fruit/veggie that isn’t in season or an item that you cannot find, you will be able to post in the group and I will help you identify a replacement for that food item.
If I am not able to follow the program completely, will I still see results?
I am providing meal plans that plan out exactly what you are eating for every meal and snack for the week. With that being said, I know life happens (especially for moms) and it is likely that you won’t be able to always follow the meal plan. Even if you follow the meal plan 70-80% of the time, you will see results inshallah! One of the nutrition education videos covers how to eat healthy when you are eating out to help you make healthier choices when you are not home. Keep in mind, you will have access to the program forever, so you can try out any recipes you may have missed the first time around!
I am very busy with my kids schedules - will I have time to follow the meal preps?
This program is designed for the busy mom. The weekly meal prep videos will show you exactly how to meal prep in an efficient manner to minimize your time in the kitchen during the week. It also eliminates the dreaded “what’s for dinner?” question every night!
Can I join later on?
Once the program doors are closed, no new members will be accepted for several months. I will also have limited enrollment to ensure I am able to give each individual member appropriate support through 1 on 1 biweekly coaching calls. Ramadan is coming up, so the next time I offer this program will likely be in September 2020.

"I had my third baby in December and I’ve gained a lot of weight ever since my first pregnancy, I just really wanted to lose weight but those Google diets that I used to try just wouldn’t last longer than a week. Nazima has the best recipes, they’re full of flavour and aren’t bland. She includes great tips and shows you how to meal plan (which is literally a life saver with three kids).
